MAX-iR

Ultra-Sensitive Real-Time FTIR Gas Analysis

The Thermo Scientific MAX-iR FTIR Gas Analyser is engineered for high-performance gas analysis, offering real-time detection and ultra-low detection limits. Designed to handle a variety of applications, including inline process monitoring, gas purity certification, and batch sampling, the MAX-iR provides precise measurements with exceptional reliability. Leveraging StarBoost Enhanced Optical Technology, it enables single-digit ppb detection, with the potential to reach mid-ppt levels for ultra-high purity gases.

Built for efficiency and accuracy, the MAX-iR features a high-throughput multipass gas cell and a factory-calibrated FTIR spectrometer with up to 1 cm⁻¹ resolution. Its integrated temperature and pressure sensors ensure measurement consistency, even in demanding environments. The included MAX-Analytical STANDARD Software Suite automates data collection, reporting, and remote operation, enabling seamless integration into process control systems. With dual-level vibrational dampening and robust construction, the MAX-iR is ideal for both laboratory and field applications.
