COMPACT Yeast Monitor

Real-time yeast concentration monitor

The COMPACT Yeast Monitor is a highly efficient and compact instrument tailored for real-time yeast concentration measurement during brewery processes. Capable of handling live yeast concentrations of up to 70% viable spun solids, this single-channel system offers accurate and reliable readings.

Contained within a small yet durable IP65 stainless steel housing, the COMPACT Yeast Monitor houses all the necessary yeast monitoring processing power, making it a complete and self-sufficient instrument. Its design allows for easy fitting onto standard instrument housings, such as the Tuchenhagen varivent, ensuring seamless integration into existing setups.

Primarily used for online measurement of yeast slurries in delivery pipelines, the COMPACT system provides real-time signals that can be utilised to trigger pitching and cropping operations. Additionally, it finds application in measuring yeast concentration in fermentation or propagation vessels.

The core component of the COMPACT system is the COMPACT unit, which serves as the main processing engine. Packed with both analog and digital processing capabilities, this standalone instrument delivers outstanding performance while maintaining its compact form factor. The integrated probe further contributes to the instrument’s simplicity and ruggedness, ensuring reliable operation.
