NIR absorption sensor in compact design
The EXspect 231 is a high-precision, compact NIR sensor that can be perfectly adapted to the particular measuring task. It is used to monitor production processes in the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as in many other process applications. With an integrated digital measuring amplifier and touch play, the sensor is reliable thanks to its stainless steel construction and non-wearing sapphire windows.
The measuring units can be output in percent turbidity, absorption, or common turbidity units depending on the type of sensor, and a maximum measuring range of 0…6 AU is available, which can be output via the standard interface of 4…20 mA. Different switching outputs are available, and there are two alarm limits that can be programmed.
The sensor can easily be adapted to the specific measuring task using the EXpert parameterisation software. For all measuring ranges, optical filters from the EXcap 110 filter series are available to test and calibrate the sensor.
